Conferência de Robert Glick

No próximo dia 16 de outubro de 2018, pelas 11h00, na Sala Ferreira Lima (FLUC, 6º piso), Robert Glick (Rochester Institute of Technology) fará a conferência “The Paradox of Wonder Woman’s Airplane and the Transmedial Novel”. Esta iniciativa é organizada pelo Programa de Doutoramento FCT em Materialidades da Literatura e Centro de Literatura Portuguesa (CLP), com o apoio do Rochester Institute of Technology. A deslocação do Prof. Robert Glick a Coimbra integra-se no protocolo de colaboração entre a Universidade de Coimbra e o Rochester Institute of Technology, que inclui a realização da MATLIT-RIT Summer School, lecionada por doutorandos do Programa para estudantes do RIT, no próximo mês de junho de 2019.

Robert Glick is Associate Professor of English at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he teaches creative writing and digital literature. He received his M.A. in Performance Art from San Francisco State University and his Ph.D. in Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Utah. His stories have been published in The Normal School, Denver Quarterly, Black Warrior Review, and The Gettysburg Review. Excerpts from his current project, the novel The Paradox of Wonder Woman’s Airplane, have won national competitions from Summer Literary Seminars and the New Ohio Review; others excerpts have appeared in The Collagist, the Los Angeles Review, and most recently, the 2018 Masters Review anthology. His first collection of stories, Two Californias, will be published by C&R Press in the spring of 2019.
